The Industry Essentials module kicks off the CAM course by summarizing the global state of the rental housing industry.
Some key topics taught include:
- Understanding a property manager’s role as an investor and resident advocate
- Viewing the property as an investment
- Outlining the different characteristics and types of housing within the industry

The 6-month credential candidacy period begins on the purchase date of a student's first CAM module. Once all seven CAM modules are successfully completed, students should send their Visto transcripts to [email protected].
